CT CROMWELL — Community Events Committee finalized planning for an upcoming festival with insurance secured and volunteers recruited. Chair Steven Wygonowski reported that special event insurance was now in place, with a town walk-through of Pierson Park held on September 10 and a carnival walk-through scheduled for September 19 at 10 a.m. Subcommittee reports indicated 45 vendors had signed up with food trucks lined up and a street banner scheduled for posting.
The committee's two accounts held a combined $58,562, with finances reported to be in good condition.
